DENTIST
DR. JEANETTE COURTAD
Dr. Courtad has been the dentist at Mines since construction of the first clinic in 1999. She received her dental training at the University of California at San Francisco where she taught as a volunteer in Public Health for several years. Dr. Courtad has been a speaker for the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists. Her love of art and commitment to finding creative ways to communicate oral health messages is evident in her award-winning book series, Toothful Tales..
DENTAL HYGIENIST
MARY WALKER
Mary is a registered dental hygienist and has additional training in myofunctional therapy and sleep studies. She has been practicing dental hygiene in private dental offices for over 30 years and thoroughly enjoys working with our Mines students to improve their dental and general health! She lives in a log home in the mountains at the top of Coal Creek Canyon.!
DENTAL ASSISTANT
ROBERTA DIAZ
Roberta is a Denver native who has worked in the dental field for over 30 years. She is an expanded duty dental assistant (EDDA) here at CSM and has worked in private dental practices as well as the CU School of Dentisty at the Health Science Center. She has also worked at the School of Dental Medicine as a dental radiology technician on the Anschutz campus. She is so proud to be working here on the beautiful campus of the School of Mines.
